So last night I was hanging out with one of my favorite ladies. I began running my hands, fingers, fingertips, and fingernails through her hair and over her scalp randomly while she was sitting my lap. She described it as one of most sensual things she ever experienced and was "Putty in my hands." I've never really done this before with a girl but it put her into a seriously relaxed state and really turned us both on. It also was great for me to be able to give this person so much pleasure from such a simple and on the surface innocent act.
My question for the 101 faithful is do you guys have any advice on techniques or what you like in this situation? I try to learn everything I can about pleasing a woman and I feel like I randomly stumbled into a new weapon for the arsenal. My scalp is extremely erogenous and I've been aware of it for most of my adult life. I've always been tender headed and couldn't stand allot of hair handling and tugging but rubbing the scalp without pulling my hair produces awesome results for me. If you look at anatomy charts of the upper spinal cord and head, just above C1 (aka atlas) there are cranial nerves that inervate the the scalp and face just behind the occiput ( back of the skull) and that's my sweet spot!!!! I lituarally feel drunk with endorphines and become very aroused and relaxed with very little stimulaton of that area. My entire face is allot like that too and I won't even mention my ears and neck.

Also, consider that making love is not what we do to each other, rather, what we do with and for each other in partnership. Encourage her to give you feedback on what she enjoys, how she is responding, and for what she would like now/next. Feedback can be verbal or non-verbal.
Do not forget cheeks, ears and lobes, eyebrows, lips, etc. Then mix up each of theses into a random order and continue.
there are nerve endings all over the skin. Wherever there are nerve endings there is a potential erogenous zone and the potential for an orgasm. There are lots of sexy spots on the head. Behind the ears, nape of the neck, back of the head, along the hairline all the way around the face, top of the head.... This sort of thing varies from person to person.

Great find, hair is surprisingly useful sometimes ;-)
First a disclaimer: I am a guy, and my "knowledge" comes as much for people playing with my hair as playing with women's.
In my (limited) experience, I found that there are two effect that you get when playing with hair:

[*]The first is more massage-like and is linked to the interaction with the nerve endings on the scalp. It's probably one of the most soothing things you can do to someone.
[*]The second is the hair caressing sensitive parts of the skin. The most obvious of these regions are the nape (back of the neck) and behind the ears

Obviously, the great thing about hair (especially if it's long and straight) is that it's quite easy to do both without even really knowing what you are doing (as we both learnt apparently).

I generally tend to use this to get closer to a girl. I found that often getting your mouth close to her ear and applying warm breath is a great way to get more physical. It is easy to do, can be a huge turn on for both partners and if she does not push you away that almost automatically allow neck-kissing. :p Some girls don't like it though (I have encountered one) so as always, be on the lookout for the signals.
If you're doing it right, most girls will curve their head back and close their eyes, which is an obvious WIN.
