No way I am in your fraternity but, facing facts, it is predictable that there will be some change in the sensitivity of any body part that has been so traumatized. Some will be more sensitive for a while; others will go numb.
There are nerves inder your sking and sometimes they are going to be hit. Complete severance = numb; resting against = increased sensitivity - maybe pain. Infection and we are in a new game.
I had both of my nipples pierced with 6ga rings and my penis pierced with a
6ga barbell. Both piercings gave me extra sensitivity. The piercing in my penis gave my wife extra pleasure.
I had to take all of my piercings out when I had my total hip replacement.
I haven't decided if I am going to have them re-done.
If you have had a joint replacement, you would have to be absolutely and completely round the bend to have piercings. You even have to take anti-biotics to get your teeth cleaned!!! And you consider piercing? The risk of infection at the piercing site is nothing compared having to have your hip removed, your system cleansed (several weeks of intravenous anti-biotics) and then another hip put in.
We are not allowed to fire patients in the NHS but I would most assuredly find a way to dump you.
I have thought about having my nipples pierced not for more or less sensitivity but more for looks. I've been told by many women that I should get mine pierced, but I'm not sure if I would look right with them pierced. Only thing I have pierced currently is my ear. But I haven't even worn an earring since hmmm, 2002 ?
Any input from the women? Do guys with nipple piercings make them "sexier"?
Brandye, by the way, your avatar, is that you? I'm not much of a boob man, but those are very nice!
My ears are pierced with 6 ga spikes, and the sensitivity is so so. I mean I cant really have my ear lobes nibbled on anymore so its hard to say. As far as my tongue, I noticed that when I eat, everything tastes really flavorful...even foods I normally hated taste pretty good.
As far as sexually, everything feels sooooo soft against my tongue. Making out sends shivers down my spine and when I go down on a girl they seem to love it.
guess I will hold off on the nipple piercings.. I don't feel like having my nipples sore every time something/someone touches them..
Every now and then I get my chest waxed, and when the nip gets in the way... yeah.. that hurts! Sometimes it is sore for a few days, so I guess getting them pierced probably wouldn't be the best thing. Even wearing a shirt rubbing on a sore nipple sucks.. Constantly pulling shirt up and looking at my nipple as it feels like it is bleeding, but its not.

You could try some of those clip on things.. to see how you feel about
having something hanging off your nipples...
No way I would get mine done.. Being a mother of two I know all about sore nipples lol:D
I have my lobes, second holes in my ears and a cartilage done on my ears. The cartilage peircing has not fully healed (it's only been a couple months) but didn't make a difference on sensitivity. My lobes however, are basically numb, lol.

my tongue is pierced. It didnt hurt or anything and from what I can tell, getting head is 10 times better than without one.
I also ATTEMPTED at a nipple piercing... it hurt too bad and I took it out within 5 mins of having it pierced.

I have a 6 gauge dolphin piercing and a new 12 gauge reverse prince albert. They are great piercings. I plan on stretching the reverse pa also.
Piercings
I have a horizontal hood piercing.... And yes it is alot more sensitive then it was prior to getting it done...

USA, I would say that it is all personal prefrance. I know some girls who love it, and some who think it looks gross.
My buddy pierced his, he said it was super painfull even 3 months after when people bumped them, so he eventually just took them out.
