Okay, so my girlfriend started her period today....thank god....ive been a little stressed after our first time, because we were both virgins and didnt really know what to expect.....but there was a problem when she started....
she was sweating excessively but was freezing cold, she had trouble breathing, was extremely tired and was in so much pain she couldnt drive home....and she said it wasnt cramps it was like a stabbing pain...and when she took out her tampon she was ok...it just went to cramps...now im wondering what could this mean...i know she should see a doc but im curious and a little scared....her mom was wondering if she has been having sex, and i hope that this may be what is causing it cuz this is totally new for her but i guess the same thing happens to her mom on the first day of her period.

Okay slow down. First you are having sex and she has been getting a period? Correct? And no birth control failure?
Now the cramps may be normal. When I had a period the second day was horrible, get away & leave me alone. The pain was horrible, chills, cold, backache, leg pain, fatigue, pale & tired. Day 3 was better, Day 4 I felt human, etc.
I would wait it out. If she has her period and it's on time good. If not, then see a gyn doc. for the blood test. All she has to tell her mom is she is having really bad cramping.
Well we have been having sex. and no condom failure....she was like dying which is a first usually bad cramps but she had a stabbing pain when she put in her tampon...she removed it an no more pain...she had chills but was sweating, and was really tired....her mom says she cant use tampons on the first day of her period cuz she gets the same thing but then started asking her if she had sex and saying you better not be prego which just adds to anxiety....
yes her period was on time.
i used to get that way when i was on my period. tampons were absolutely out of the question because they made the pain far worse. i still can't use them, but the birth control i take has drastically reduced the pain.
It's most likely a heavy period no biggie. Forget her mom's response regarding preggers. On bad days tampons hurt like hell until enough Advil kicks in which decreases the cramps.
ok yeah well her mom is pretty freakin scary when shes pissed and knowing her she would call my rents and tell them weve been having sex which is in no way true..... ;)
This is part of "playing". What does it mean "calling your rents"? Several made that comment!
She shoudl tell her mom "hey I"ll do a preg test to keep you happy"! For geezus sake the poor thing has an awful period!
Rents= Parents....yeah i figured that was part of playing...i wasnt expecting to stress so bad, but as you could tell from my post about my girlfriend feeling me cum it led to a lot more stress....the first time...no worries....second time...more anxiety....i hate to see what happens by the 100th lol. Thanks sera i should tell my girlfriend to do that, but were still a little nervous (obviously) but her pain has gone away...she took midol and she has no more pain so hopefully everything is good.

Midol I think is more for premenstrual issues. Either way, Tylenol, Advil, or Naprosyn (all over the counter meds) work for cramps she just has to be certain she is not allergic.
The joys of not knowing what to expect! I recall those myths & scares so many years ago.
Ok, understand the "rents" now; I could not understand why people had "renters" who worried about their landlords sex life! LOL!

Just be careful and enjoy your youth! I know you are not a kid, but enjoy the fun part of life; it only comes once. :)
