For her past 2 periods my girlfriend has been getting a discharge that looks like tissue or skin, of a whitish color that has been tinted with menstrual fluids. It is about the size of her palm, it is painful or can be felt when it discharges. It somewhat feels like somthing from her body is peeling or being removed. What could this be??? We're going to the GYN soon enough but any insight would definatley help.

Period Discharges - A Palm Size Blob
I honestly don't know. I've only had it happen twice and I think it happened two periods in a row. Haven't had it happen since.
I'm not saying it is the egg lining, that's just what it looked like to me. The doctor would know best.
Mine is not nearly the size of my palm, but there are times I have discharged a whitish like tissue. The only thing I can figure out is it's the lining of the egg that never got fertilized. Usually you don't see it because it dissolves itself but I don't think that always happens so that could be what it is. I don't know for sure. It's just my assumption from what I've experienced.
What could it be caused by? Or is it a cause of the sometimes unpredictable human body?
It could also be the mucus plug that covers the entrance to the cervix. I will sometimes before my period discharge a little "blob" but nothing ever as large as my palm... no wonder it hurts :(

Situation... Period sex, we have sex for a few minutes. I ejaculate, usually we just clean off and start where we left off. But while I was cleaning off, I notice there was alot of blood (my girlfriend said she was done bleeding, but you how the human body is) I was surprised, I was cleaning, cleaning, I was thinking this is alot of blood.
She asks whats wrong, I say, babe its really bloody but its okay. I had a noticable look on my face when I was cleaning, and it definatley was noticed. I keep saying its okay, it doesnt bother me but it didnt go through to her. We have had period sex before, and I have seen her blood on my penis before but I had never seen it after I ejaculated, frankly I thought something was wrong with myself.
I know younger women are selfconsious esecially about their periods. This goes deep in the women mind, and I dont know whether I deeply offended or she beleives she is inadequate for me. I've asked not to feel bad and that I'm the type of boyfriend that just wants to please her and make her happy, meaning I usually try to keep myself second. I'm stumped.
