In regards to the second question, I think that is need is less strong that we have come to believe or wish... the need is really about a society that has things fairly well screwed up.

Rather than take on the challenge of living together as strong self reliant inviduals, we've taken the easy way out. We've decided that our common bond is one of need. In order to function as a society (and often as a couple, how this started) it's easier to focus on the "needs" and failings rather than glory in what we are capable of achieving. We expend huge amounts of creative energy explaining our failings instead of trying to succeed.

If you look a the capabilities of humans, you have to conclude that we weren't desiged (or didn't evolve, no arguments LOL) to be needy and neurotic. We do that to ourselves.

I guess its a tricky one this. I have definately had my ear bashed a few times due to time of the month issues.

Whatever the issue that is raised... no matter how obvious it ma be that it is due to that time... never suggest it!!! LOL OUCHHHH!!!

I too think this is the perfect woman. However there are times that hormones, life problems, and other stresses might make her bitchy. But to what level does she give into it.
