I've been looking at penis sleeves as something for my boyfriend to wear during sex as opposed to condoms. Personally I'd want him to wear a condom just in case the sleeve feels awkward, and for easier clean up. I've used condoms on dildos to help them last longer.
I've been pondering this over and over, and just want some thoughts. I've found some sleeves that don't need a harness, one that hooks on the balls, but I want to get one that's comfortable for men too. And my main reason for not wanting to go "bare" is because we want to have children after we're married and financially stable. I know that condoms with spermicide are virtually fool proof, but after some bad experiences, I also need to be "reacquainted" so to speak.
And if you want to throw in some other tips for birth control without the pill, I don't mind either. I've read up so much about it that I think I have it covered. I didn't see any post for penis sleeves, so don't kill me.
Edit: as I mentioned in my other reply, this fits on covering from crown/head of the penis and along the length of the shaft.

Just wondering; if you're not interested in the extension-purpose, than why a sleeve instead of a condom?
I've never heard of them being made or tested for contraception, which is why I wouldn't trust them for such purpose. I did find the same question here (though answer can't be verified): [url=http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20110504175524AAVn8RV]Do penis sleeves work as a condom ( birth control)? - Yahoo!7 Answers
You know all about it, so does this mean you've actually used NFP? Please be most welcome to share your experiences in the thread Big pointed out to you. I've been waiting for it! :) For instance: you mention not getting pregnant; was pregnancy the purpose for you to start using this method?
I assume you suspect that something may be wrong in your reproductive area, causing your dysmenorrhea? I wish for you that you'll be able to make the savings for the doctor's visit soon. There's nothing more troublesome but suspecting something is wrong inside your body and not being able to have it checked out.
Have you looked up natural family planning? It Is a process to which you gather bio feedback to know where you are at in your cycle. Once you have that info you have sex on the days you are not very fertile to prevent pregnancy or use it to quickly conceive with wanting to start a family. Oh and what is a penis sleeve used for? It looks like something a guy would where after he came and wanted to continue having sex.
I've actually done loads of research on NFP. I know about everything from checking the cervix, temperature, and the like for ovulation. Considering I never once got pregnant with one ex, it has made me suspicious that my dysmenorrhea is secondary and not primary. I want to go visit the doctor for that, but sadly I can't afford it. I believe my paranoia comes from that specific ex who just wasn't considerate.
The penis sleeve is generally used for guys who aren't that well endowed and still want to pleasure their woman. It's like a dildo a guy can wear, because it's hallow, but it's an extender. If lots of guys have worn it in place of a condom, I'd like to use that as an "introduction" so that neither of us feel paranoid later on. It would be his first time in general, but my first time with him. The more relaxed we both feel, the better, of course.
Edit: I forgot to mention that there are some sleeves that don't have a cap for the crown/head, but are simply for female penetration pleasure, but the ones I'm talking about are typically either extenders and cover the tip and shaft. In fact, some go with a harness and others fit around/behind the testicles.
