as of late i have noticed that my pc muscles twitch every now and then. sometimes it is just barely noticeable, but other times i can feel a slight pain from my penis down to my anus. i can't help but move a little to try and squeeze the pain away, similar to how i tighten up to orgasm. have others here experienced this?

Your description sounds like what my bf described after having ejaculated a few times. I experience something similar when I have had a lot of orgasms the night prior. And when I haven't masturbated in a while. In the latter case; the twitching is preceded by a sort of feeling of pressure. And I know children at times experience painful pressure or twitching in the genital area during the dawning of puberty (around the age of 8-12), probably because their body is changing. That's not much applicable to you though :)
