hi, i've been having sex with my bf for about a year now, and lately during and just after sex, i get this burning sensation down there. after the burning subsides, it turns into bad itching...
it never used to happen before, just recently, could changing condom brand or his increasing size be the reason?
Unless you contracted an STI somehow, it could be an allergy to the condom (latex allergy) or even an allergy to the lubricant itself. When I first used latex condoms, I noticed my penis would be itchy and my hands (from putting the condom on) would peel and burn.
Call your doc though to rule out possible STI's though
can it be sti if me and my bf have only ever had sex with eachother??

This does not soubnd at all like an STD. Most likely a low level yeast or bacterial infection. Most women recognize these after a while but if it is the first, talk to a doctor. The treatments are different.
