ovulating

is there more risk of pregnancy when you're ovulating? just wondering...

i know..im not stupid lol! i was wondrin if it was an increased likelihood, u said it is, and i was just thinkin how i could reduce the risk even more aswell as using contraception.

Your entire menstrual cycle is your body trying to become pregnant. That is the way nature works. Each month you prepare to "lay an egg" and, then, if it is not fertilized, the preparations have to be disposed of. Ovulation is "laying the egg and intercourse within a couple days either way give you at least a 1 in 4 chance of becoming pregnant. Other times of the month, the chances are less with the lowest chance during your period. The problem is that none of us is perfectly regular and teen women are notoriously unpredictable. If your period is even slightly irregular, so is your ovulation.

Trying to time sex and ovulaation to avoid pregnancy is not an effective way to avoid pregnancy.
