OK here it is. My current GF likes getting me jealous at the bar she'll flirt with other guys until I'm pissed and ready fight! Then we usually go home and have great sex! Now the sex is awesome but the build up sucks, my friends are telling me she is clearly cheating on me, and my GF and her friends tell me that it turns her on to see me being protective. The truth is I don't know what to think.

Is anyone going or has anyone gone through this sort of thing?

Truth be told, you're getting your own self jealous. Your girlfriend may be stirring up your emotions, however, only you can decide how to respond. If you do not want to become mad, upset, then don't.

Unless and until you are married there can be no cheating, per se. You are dating and hopefully not being exclusive. (For more on this please read the article on exclusivity listed in the Index.)

If you want more adult behavior from her then do not play into her little game. If you do not react, she will quickly stop because she will no longer be getting a pay off from you.

Of course, you are describing typical teenage behavior, whether you are a teen or not.

Thank you for your replies, no I won't become celibate. I enjoy sex to much. I think I'll have to 'Nut Up or Shut Up.' and deal with the situation.

She wants to get her ego stroked by showing she has such power over you - make you all jealous by playing with all the other boys. "I have him on a string. Watch as I make him 'fight' for me".

In other words, buddy = playing you for a sucker.

What you do is ignore her once she's left your side. When she returns you act just as if she'd gone to the ladies' room - ho hum. "I'm ready to go, sweety, Are you?" Do NOT under ANY circumstances pay any attention to her or exhibit ANY jealousy when she's not immediately by your side and with you. Instead, act like you don't care. Take her home and then leave her there. Tell her you'll see her tomorrow and then leave.

No phone calls, no texts, no emails, between then and when you see her next.

It sounds harsh but this is how you have to show that you are not a puppy dog who will accept scraps from her table. You want her respect. You demand her respect. By acting like a MAN and not some jealous loser.

Yes it is typical teenager. And far too frequent.

by playing the 'make him jealous' game - pffft - if she wants wild sex with him she should just DO it - games are unnecessary and only indicate a limited imagination and that she hasn't yet fully embraced her own sexuality.
