What was it I felt up there?

I have a new girlfriend and was fingering her anus when I felt something kind of hard up there. I've read enough to know that feces is not stored there plus I imagine that wouldn't have been hard like this. It made my erection die immediately and need to find out what this is so I can try it again (she wants it badly). Any ideas what it was up there?

Your information is only partly correct. While the colon stores most of the feces most of the time, the rectum does hold some. No other route from the colon to the outside world. You will find solid substance in there.

Hard as in a rock? Hard as in a firm organ? You most likely felt feces although you do not indicate at what depth. It is possible that at several centimeters you could feel her cervix through the intestinal wall and the posterior vaginal wall. For some few women who do not want their hymen ruptured or who for other reasons do not want examination via vagina, we do rectal examination of the female parts. Not quite as direct, but it does the job.

Thanks for the reply, Brandye. What I felt definitely was not through any walls. I had my index finger 3/4 of the way up there and felt something with my fingertip. It was hard and somewhat pointy. I kind of "tickled" it with my finger and nothing broke off, so I kind of assumed (or maybe hoped) it wasn't feces. It happened again yesterday morning, but this time I was using my thumb. The same thing was up there. Regardless of what it is, I imagine if I ever got my penis up there it would hurt for both of us.

I'm also a bit concerned that maybe she has cancer or a tumor or something and should maybe see a doctor.

If it was attached to her, as opposed to just passing through, she would have really felt your fiddling with it. When in doubt, have it checked.
