For Women Only - Bras

How much do you usually pay for a bra? What is your favorite brand and style?

Depends...for regular wear about 70-80 dollars. I also look for some nice ones which are on clearance. I am not a big fan of Victoria's Secret any longer and look at figleaves.com...they are an on-line site which carry every style & price range you can imagine. They work with you and ship nicely! Often you can easily find matching panties in multiple "styles" to the style of bra chosen. Sometimes for special occasions or a special dress it's nice to purchase something you really like! One thing they carry all ranges and even those which are high end designers. What I really do like they have all bra styles & sizes in one-line which you may like and matching choices of panties. They do also carry bathing suits & sleepwear.

Chico's has "Soma Intimates" which are very comfortable and also are available on-line both are wonderful for fitting! I use the lingerie bag to wash or I hand wash and line dry. Always use delicate cycle if you need to use the washing machine, carefully hang to dry, avoid sunlight, and use a delicate laundry detergent to preserve them! Good luck! Some run beyond $250.00 plus, always purchase panties which match when buying the decorative types!

The site has all on sale due to the economy and end of season! Your lucky day since there are many based on the "need" you wish to accomplish [everyday styles, sports, push-up or dress]!

I have mine made for me and you do not want to know what they cost. In the long term, they are cost effective when cared for properly. And so much more comfortable. I have never been to the US but in the UK and much of Eurtope there are still corsettiers available.

The exception to custom bras is my cycling bras. There adverts in many cycling magazines. Most women cyclists wear sport bras of various brands. The cycling specific bras focus on reducing sway as much as bounce.

I usually buy mine at Wal-mart or Zellers (student on a budget whoo) somewhere between the almost free-$25.00 range. I look for the sales first then head to the more expensive ones. They hold the twins well enough for me.

I spend about $18 - $29 usually at JC Penney's or Victoria's Secret (when on sale). The most expensive one I've ever had was a black Wacoal strapless bra that I had to buy for the gown I wore at my cousins wedding. That one cost a huge $55.00.
