i have had a few threesomes in my life but none since entering into a long term relationship.

With regards to having one while in a serious relationship, no i do not think that I would entertain the thought from either my or my SO's perspective. In my experience this usually results in regret, jealousy and feelings of inadequacy on either partner.

That said, i do not for a moment doubt that many relationships can and do continue or even improve after partaking in threesomes. Just not for me.

i have done both threesomes with 2 guys and 2 girls and in my opinion they aint all their cracked up 2 be (but thats just my opinion). As far as the original question goes, a threesome in a long term relationship, not a good idea, as it cause major problems in the relationship. However results can vary depending on the people.
