is vasaline suitible for anul lubrication???

is vasaline (petroleum jelly) ok to use as anul lube because i dont want to go out and by some real anul lube because it is to embaressing for me so i was wandering if vasaline would be ok ..... and also...... if a carrot is ok to use as a dildo... i know it sounds silly but i realy dont want to by the real thing ... i would put a condom over the carrot but ....yeh i would like to know PLEASE!!!!!

Anal sex MUST include a condom!!!!!! Therefore, vaseline is not appropriate because mineral lube will breakdown the latex.

Get K-Y Jelly or surgilube, No spermicide should be used on the anus.

Brandye's right... but several tips:

First, you don't buy "anal" lube. It's just lube. While it might be assumed you are using it for sex, no one is going to know what type of sex. It could be for vaginal, anal... or even masturbation. Even more to the point, no one is going to care. K-Y jelly is probably the most innocuous and it is also considered a medical lube for things like suppositories and enemas (might still be embarrassing, but- hey- that's life.). Astroglide and Wet are also brandnames that are availible in most stores.

Second, if you are really terminally shy, then try a grocery/department store that has self-checkout. Many now do (Kroger and Wal-mart, specifically). No one but you will ever handle your purchases; so no one will be aware of what you do or don't buy.
