Sex in a Hot Tub

I have never had sex in a hot tub, pool, etc. For my boyfriend's birthday in a few weeks, I want to get a hotel room with a jacuzzi as a suprise. I want to make sure everything goes great. On other sites I have seen where it is more uncomfortable underwater because the natural lubrication is washed away. Does anyone have any advice, experiences, or tips to share? I want to make this a memorable birthday!

My guess is that we all attempt it in a hot tub, bath tub, swimming pool, lake or whatever. And almost all of us discover it is just not worth it.

Start with you. When you are in a body of water, your inner lips seal you up and keep it all out. Spreading to admint a penis allows the water in with all the chemical, microbes and other tiny junk. It does, as you suggest, wash away lube. As the penis pumps, it is acting like a piston pump: each slide out allows a little water into you and each push shoves that into you.

I long ago gave up on sex in or under water. It is a good place to give blowjobs.

I think Brandye is right that we are all going to try it given the chance. I have tried it and have found that it's not so great to actually attempt sex while in water...for the reasons she mentioned, but also because the water makes you more bouyant and makes movement harder. I found it really hard to be on top while in a hot tub because you feel like you are going to float away, and trying to do any riding or thrusting motions are inhibited by the weight of the water against your body. Think of trying to run in a swimming pool and apply the same principal to the motions of sex.

However, I think that any kind of foreplay can be great while in the hot tub, pool, etc. It's a good place to set the mood, but as for doing the deed, I'd recommend doing it on dry land. Have some towels ready near the jacuzzi to make a smooth transition if you guys decide to get out and give up midway. Nothing kills the mood more than being soaking wet, freezing, and naked while having to search for a towel!

Well, Brandye, maybe it is just because I am a naturally hot guy, however, getting turned on in a hot tub of water just makes my blood boil and steam come out of my ears. It has been said that horses sweat, women "glow", and men perspire, yet in these situations my skin just gushes water.

Oh, please do not misunderstand, I do like renting hotel rooms with Jaccuzi tubs and mirrors on the ceiling and we have done so many times both in Sacramento and Lake Tahoe yet our enjoyment has mainly been preliminary so as not to become too over heated and weak.

So, Bunnygirl, take all this great advise and run with it to your nearest adult lair for some fun and frolic, however, I think you are well advised to just use the water for the preliminaries whatever they be.

Oh, one of the first times we did this, my wife blindfolded me and drove us on a circuitous route to the motel. I did not know what was on the agenda until opening the door and smelling the water. What fun.

Thanks so much for the advice! From the pictures I have seen of the hotel rooms, the jacuzzi is right next to the bed, so that may be the best plan of action! I just want him to have a memorable birthday (for the right reasons!). Thanks!

I agree with everyone else . Great place for a little oral fun, but leave the "full scale assault" to dry land. We've done it and succeeded in hot tubs, but most of the time I end up all but having a heat stroke and having to get out. By that time I can hardly breathe and the mood is gone as I'm gasping to stay alive.

Yes. Think about all the other microbes and stuff that's found in sea water... yikes. You could have your own little microbe zoo going on down there. Plus, I suppose it's possible that salt water (if that's what you're talking about) could damage a condom. I just wouldn't try it.
