What is his penis bumping into?

I had sex with my boyfriend last night, we were a little rough (in a good way!). When I moved on top of him and his penis was all the way in, I had a very sharp pain like it was hitting something.

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy with removal of tubes and ovaries five years ago. Am I correct in assuming my cervix should be gone and there should not be anything there to "hit"?

Thanks for any advice or experiences!

katiebug will become famous soon enough
I have no idea about what specifically they take out during a hysterectomy, however, I would assume that your cervix would still be there. There has to be some kind of "end" to the tunnel, you know? Maybe what you felt him hitting was some kind of scar tissue left from your surgery? If it continues to hurt you, it'd probably be wise to consult with the doctor just to make sure things have healed correctly and are OK.

If the uterus went, as would be usual with a total hysterectomy, the cervix would be gone as well. He was simply filling you to the top of the vagina and the pain was hyperextension. Just take it a little easier and there will be no problem.

Thanks so much. I feel better. I was just concerned something was wrong.
