Undergoing Circumcision (My experiences)

Hi as many of you know I'm due for a circumcision soon. And I know that I was looking for all the help I could get from guys who had done it. So as I said, I'm gonna post updates in the hope that anyone who needs information can get it here.

I've started a new post with a clear title to make it much easier to find.

Here's my latest update:

I had my pre op medical the other day and I'm good to go (except the dozy nurse f*cked up the blood test and allowed the vein to continue bleeding in my arm - instead of pressing on it when she took the needle out like she's supposed to (now the escaped blood has to seep back into the bloodstream like with a bruise (and my arm has swollen around the elbow and it's very sore cause the swelling is pressing on the nerves) Typical I'm passed fit and then a day later I'm back in hospital with a problem they caused! (the nurse is not involved on May16th though thankfully)

I'm looking forward to the sensation of losing a few hours due to the anaesthetic (I've never got drunk or high or ever passed out) my nerves are okay (apart from the one in my right arm ) I expected to be more anxious about the whole impending thing.

I've been told that I can eat till midnight on the 15th and drink clear water right until 6:30 on the 16th (operation day) I'm due in hospital for 7:45am. After the operation and recovery from the aneasthetic I can go home as soon as I've eaten something and passed water (and there's no additional bleeding) There is an approximate recovery time of 10 days (in terms of returning to work etc) and a sex ban until 3-4 weeks and then It'll be sore the first couple of times. As far as loss of sensation in the longterm is concerned, I've been told it's negligable.

As ever I'll keep y'all posted.

Well - 3 days ago since the deed was done and I'll tell ya it's a lot more painful than I expected. Nothing can compare you for the shock of pain you get jolted with everytime your glans contacts the cloth of your shorts (and loose ones with the netting btw) or with the sanitary pad that I use to soak any blood (and boy was there a lot of that on Tuesday - I nearly passed out when I went to the toilet the first time! ) But still, I'm recovering now. I was prescribed Co Dydramol for the pain, but I've so far only used it for the first two nights to help me sleep. The thickness does seem to have increased somewhat, also it looks slightly bigger now (hopefully this is not temporary due to the stitching ) it looks a lot neater though and it's clean too.

As for Tuesday itself, I think being put out is one of the strangest experiences of my life. I was in the pre-op room on the bed chatting and I just felt my eyes roll upwards into my skull. The next thing I knew I was in recovery and I just wanted to sleep! The only horror of the day was the first time I walked to the toilet (stupid move) and left a nice pool of blood on the floor (Ooze my ass! ) When they say it may "Ooze" for a few days, they mean. "It's gonna gush blood for the first day and get progressively better - then it might "ooze" after that"

As for recovering, having too much time alone with my mind is not a good thing!

I always wondered what it was like to be sedated. Interesting descriptions there.

And ouch! I do not envy your situation right now. Here's hoping you get well soon!

Thanks. Just got back from my Doctor's surgery and everything's as it should be, the swelling and bruising has noticably gone down (and my balls are starting to feel normal again) To look at the area now is less gruesome now the dried blood and ooze seems to have gone. The best way to describe it is that the glans (or helmet) is now exposed, the skin is rolled (and stitched) like a band underneath this (I don't know how much is cut, and how much has just been peeled back - but it kinda looks like it's just retracted (although I know they did cut the foreskin off) I have an odd sense of detatchment about seeing the stitches now, I was never really upset by seeing them anyway, it was the oozing blood that did it for me! I'll say this though, how in the hell some BSDM players enjoy cock and ball torture is beyond me! Have a circumcision guys, that'll change your opinions.

So I've been signed off work till next Wednesday (I'd imagine the stitches will have dissolved by then ) After that, barring no sex for a couple more weeks I'm ready to rock n' roll again.

Why did you want to get it done so bad? religious reasons?
I am uncirced. and considered it a little bit, just to be more " normal" but it is WAY to much of something to go through.
I do like the idea of having it be neater, cleaner, and looking bigger

I think the decision was up to you and I hope your very happy with it.

My boyfreind is uncircumsized and says he wants to get it done. He says it would make him happy. Perhaps I'll have to show him this board.

Get well soon!

Hey Buffy,
I would like you to learn from your boyfriend why he believes having the operation would make him happy and report back here.

Doesn't he know and understand that the nerves in his Glans are much more sensitive than they are for us who have grown up having them dulled over a lifetime of rubbing against clothing?

He benefits from being able to experience much greater intensity, and, if he desires, the variety that adds spice to his pleasure, by choosing whether to retract the foreskin or not.

Should he be one of a group of men who cannot stand to have the surface of the Glans touched directly, then he will have to undergo a long period of adjustment in order to temper those nerves. This may make having intercourse difficult for period of time, not to mention oral stimulation.

I got 'circumsized' by accident when i was 15. It was during my first sexual experience and i knew my foreskin was really thight because i couldn't pull it back during erection without severe pain. During the sex i felt a little rip but kept going, afterwards i took a shower and noticed blood inside the condom and that i'de ripped the bit of skin attaching the skin to the penis itself. At first i was shocked but afterwards ( 1-2 days ) i went to the surgery and got circumsized properly and didn't experience any blood only a tiny bit of oozing. Circumsision makes walking a chore, I didn't even think about masturbating and that was weird because i used to masturbate even just out of boredom.

My quick tip to reduce the rubbing feeling while being circumsized would be wear a G string. It may sound stupid or whatever but it kept me in a nice little package and almost no friction.

I have been considering a circumcision lately, and taking it very seriously. I have done research on it through the net but i always seem to just come across scientific reports. Im curious to know, if anyone has had a circumcision just for cosmetic reason, if they had any regrets or even joys over getting a circumcision?

The reason for myself getting it done is purely cosmetic reasons and from the sounds of it, it sounds like a bad idea, im just curious about other peoples experiences.
Thanks
