Razor burn? Sensitive Skin? My handy dandy trick is baby oil after I shave the area. You can purchase Bikini Zone tho here in the states. It works well. Or a hydrocortozone cream, since that all that bikini zone is anyway. External of course only.

I have heard of something called "cootchie cream" that is supposed to sooth the skin after shaving. I have not tried it myself, so I don't know how well it works.

Red face

I just recently shaved me entire pubic area for the first time. The night I did it I thought it was great. The next day I woke up in excruciating pain and my entire pubic region was covered in red bumps which sort of resembled pimples. (I think they are ingrown hairs)

I am in terrible pain in anything I do and I am very scared the area will become infected and will remian unsightly and uncomfortbale.

If someone could PLESE respond and help me, tell me what I am experiencing and if it is something worth stressing over and what I can do to help it, I'd be very greatful.

Thankyou

This is a common effect of shaving, especially for people who are new to it. If left alone, the bumps will go away in a few days. There are also products you can buy to help sooth the area; I've heard of something called "cootchie cream" that is used for just this, but I have never used it myself, so I have no idea how well it works.

Here is a link to some tips to help you avoid this problem in the future:
shaving pubic hair
I find that it is especially important to shave with the hair instead of against it and to use a very sharp razor.

Plenty of shaving cream.
A NEW razor.
Plenty of body oil (i use baby oil gel)

And yes, repetition. The first time is always painful for us with sensitive skin.
I glob on the cream, bust out a new razor, and when I'm done I load on the baby oil. It softens the skin and the little stubbly hairs and I've noticed it's less itchy when It grows back.

I shave and always just said 'screw it' and shaved the entire area. the other day after going down on me my man traced above my vagine and said i should leave a little just so it tickles his nose... kinda like 'the landing strip' look... im just curious from the guys what it is about that look, just one striaght little area to have pubs, why they like it so much?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried hair removal cream. I think it could be safe.

I used Immac ages ago on my legs (a swimming thing) but now the names' hcanged to Veet.

I think for guys, hair removal cream would be alot safer than razor, electric or manual.

May try it one day...
