Shaving 101

I started shaving a few months ago after a long period of contemplation and I love it. I keep the scrotum shaved completely, shave off the few hairs that grow on the shaft, and then trim the rest down to about 1/4" with an electric trimmer. I can't do it in the shower because I can't see squat without my glasses on, so I typically just do it dry while sitting on the edge of the toilet. For special occassions I'll use some cream to get it a little closer, but it's a challenge because it makes everything slippery and it's harder to get the skin taught. Never had a problem with nicks or ingrown hairs; all I use is a cheap double bladed bic. I do the razor routine every 2-3 days and the bush trimming about every 2 weeks. I like the way it looks and feels. My wife tells me she likes it too, although she never complained about the "old" me.

After I blazed the trail, my wife gave it a shot. She shaved her labia and I thought it felt spectacular, but she didn't stick with the regimen. Then again, she's rather pregnant right now and has a hard time seeing around her belly to take care of business down there, and isn't comfortable with me doing it for her.

Made the mistake once of using the shaving cream I use on my face, which contains some kind of "cooling agent." It felt like someone dipped my balls in rubbing alcohol and then put them in front of an idustrial fan on high speed. Uncomfortable, to say the least. Now I just use a bit of what my wife keeps in the shower for her legs if needed.

Everyone has their own opinion on this. I was firmly in the "au naturale" camp for a long time but figured I owed it to myself to give smoothness a shot at least once. Glad I did!

Seriously...I, personally don't care for a woman to be completely bald. As it looks like, well, go back to the bad joke I posted above. I like my women to be smooth shaven around her pussy, with just a small patch, and/or strip/stripe on top.

As for myself, well, it isn't the only reason...but a pretty good one...I go commando, so I do like to keep my balls shaven smooth. As well as keeping the pubics above my cock neatly trimmed. Not only have I found most women love it, and turns them on...it is also a great way in keeping your pubes from getting caught up in your zipper! LOL

A reply to all who are asking about hair removal products... Do NOT use Nair if you have sensitive skin. I tried it and broke out in hives all over my body, especially the pubic area. Worst decision I've ever made!!

I must to be in the minority here. Though I would perfectly enjoy my wife wether she is shaved or not, I do have a preference for the natural look. Never found pubic hair to be a bother when going down. I like the feel, the scent, the softness. I like everything about pubic hair. See no reason to remove it what so ever. It's just perfect and beautiful as is.
