Shaving 101

I shave the pubes once and a while.. anything wrong with a guy doing that? trying to make my wife bring out her sex drive

No problem with that at all, I find it heightens the sensations of foreplay and sex, my wife likes it better too. Also my wife asked me to shave her last night (she'd never done it before) and we had the best sex ever in the six and a half years of our relationship.

I use a Phillips Bodygroom electric razor with gillette shaving gel myself, I used the same on her, but she's now bought a Gillette Venus razor and some Venus gel.

She loves it - know she knows why I asked her about it, and why I do it myself

I am usually completely shaved and find it very erotic. Two of my past girlfriends shaved completely the day before we had sex for the first time. They both said they started shaving because I told them I shaved. What a turn-on!

BTW, if you have sensitive skin or other problems with shaving, try a product called "Bikini Zone." It's a bit pricey at $8/tube, but it prevents irritation and bumps.

If you are going to go that far; I swear by the "Brazilian Waxing". No discomfort, no routine maintenance, and no irritation beyond the day it's done. A bonus is; it makes it easier to find "ticks".

If a woman keeps under the arms & the full leg done; it only requires a light waxing every 6 weeks and never have to worry when you throw shorts or a skirt on; no razor stubble. Makes life much easier.

Men can also do the same if they prefer a smooth feeling; I am finding more & more men having parts waxed than I ever thought. However, personally on men I love hair!

I shave below, trim above. I really like the smooth feeling. I usually shave whenever the prickly feeling starts. I'm not so keen on shaving the whole area though. I tried it a couple of times, but found I prefer to keep some hair in the area above the genitals. No problems with the sandpaper effect that way, and I think it looks better.

I'm a clean-shaven type of gal, and I find a bit of tendskin or nuskin (I forget which and don't have a bottle on hand. Blue bottle, says it's for razor burn) takes care of the bumps. My only issue is that I still get ingrown hairs in my bikini line. Nothing like a huge zit on the side to turn your partner on...

I've debated waxing, but I don't know if I would be comfortable with a person seeing that area without buying me dinner first.

If you see a Gyn doc; waxing is no different. When people are in the line of work where they are accustomed to body parts, the only embarrassment is to the owner of them! Honestly? The do keep you covered up while they are working. Try a bikini wax first and go from there. I would never shave again after I discovered waxing! Much easier daily; no shaving the legs, no underarm hair, no bikini line, and if you wish no other hair...

The nice part is it's fast full legs, underarms, and Brazilian takes an hour and lasts for about 6-8 weeks and cuts down on daily grooming routines. The regrowth is so fine it's easy to get re-done, and it eliminates those ingrown hairs, razor stubble, razor burn, and irritated areas.
