they start with small doses.. its usually 6-8 session bookings depending on how the hair folicals react to the treatment.. they increase the dose after each session.. i have had everything gone in 2 sessions on my legs! they do not do it if you are tanned or even fake tanned! so have to keep away from sun for a while! but that isnt so difficult to do in the UK!!

I was advised to stay out of sun for 2-3 weeks after the treatment but I heard some places say 6... i dunno.. i havnt had any problems at all.. had it done 4 weeks b4 i went to Egypt and there were no problems.

oh by the way whtever you do do not have hair removal with needles! they charge by the minute or whtever.. they dont help as they treat each hair individually! (can u imagine gettin your legs done?!?!) and its very very extreamly painful. they improved it greatly at certain clinics and use a cream tht nums the area so u dont feel any pain at all... its the best thing i ever had! definetly recommend it

Thanks for the info...I looked at various permanent methods & planned on looking into it more since Fall & Winter will be here shortly. I have done the Glycolics but only during winter and was worried if the laser hair removal would prevent future sun tanning. I know, everyone tells you stay out of it but I cannot! I hate to shave, wax only now, and now want the legs & arms done permanently!

it will DEFINETLY NOT prevent you from sun bathing.... cos im a HUGE sun lover and i never had any problems.. you should be ok.. best thing about it also is when you're on holiday and you dnt have to even take a razor with u! or when you're gettin your freak on.. no embaressing moments.. lol

Begin with trimming the "bush" neatly leave some nice hair...shave the bikini line or have it waxed...see how that goes. If you want to try more later...have a pro wax more int the bikini line until you are satisfied. No, it does not hurt...if done by a professional. Brazilians? Well, they can be annoying to maintain...and are excessive. Yes smooth but I only do them during the summer or when "Lyme Ticks" are around...easier to find one.

Thanks for your advice, but what I actually meant was [I]between[I] between the legs- or the "danger zone". It's tricky and I'd like it to not be a "woh! shes shaved!" type of job more like a "clean up"

I'm probably being really confusing-sorry, but if anyone can understand me, some advice would be great

what exactly do you mean by 'little tuft'??

i generally have a neat little triangle.. it's such an effort to keep things neat and shaving rash can occur if you do it too often...any tips? or just try to leave it and moisturise?

I'm starting to shave down there and I got a lot.

Only problem is there is hair right near my vagina and I don't think I will shave there too dangerous.

i don't really mind shaving, i'm not as itchy and it just makes things easier i suppose!

TIP: apply some baby oil or lotion after shaving and bathing to keep things soft, supple and to ward off razor burn. works on even the most sensitive areas.

i've knicked myself down there once or twice when in a hurry and the baby oil really helped. and the scent is mild and doesn't usually last long, so don't worry about smelling like a babys' ass, either!
