Hey, new to these forums.

I started trimming down there, then started taking off bits at the edges, and then one day decided "screw it, the lot will come off." Well anyway, that led to the question of "what do I do with the "pubic" hair running from my navel down to the pubic bone? Do I shave that?" I guess it would just look silly to let it grow while keeping the rest shaved, right? And if I shave that, should I shave the rest of my body, as in chest etc. ? Let us know what you think.

first off, the pubic hair running from your navel down...if you have it trimmed or shaved in a half inch strip...that is called the "happy trail"....if you have a 1/2 inch strip of hair running from your breastbone(center-lowest-part of chest) all the way down...that too, is just an extension of the "happy trail"...looks pretty good ..

I started shaving last weekend, I went for much shorter hair on the pubis and clean shave on my cock and balls - My Fiancee loves it! I also shaved the trail from my navel, but no other areas. Overall the effect is a lot neater. But it does require a bit of a touch up every few days. Let me tell you when a lady plays with your shaven balls and cock, it's mindblowing

I shave and prefer to have the smooth skin. It does take constant maintenance like having to shave every 3 days. Sometimes I do get lazy and will let it grow for awhile, but will start trimming and shaving again after no more than a month. Usually I may only let it go a week before shaving again. When I first started I just trimmed hair on the sides above the penis. Then started to shave a little more of the hair until I had a small patch just above the penis. I then just decided to take it all off and it felt great. I also started to shave the scrotum and love to have it bare and free of hair. Most of the time now I leave a patch of hair just above the penis. But all of last summer I kept it totally bare and loved it. So just about ready to take it all off.

I prefer my wife trimmed and shaved. She won't go totally bare, says it is too itchy and prickly. She shaves to the labia area and then above the vagina and leave a small mound of hair there. Sometimes she will not trim the mound and it can get long. I like it short and she has been keeping it that way. I would like her to shave the labia so when I do oral it is smooth, but really don't mind the little bit of hair there. Just glad she is willing to do what she does.

Well since my Circumcision, I've not been able to shave down there so in the past three weeks it's grown out again - however I'm gonna ask my Fiancee to help me sort it out again and offer to return the favour. I've been shaving partners ever since I got it down to a science. Ever heard of magic bags? You can nuke 'em to place them wherever heat is needed on a muscle. (a chiropractor told me they are just beans in a nice sock, and he's right) nuke 1 for 20 sec's, apply (damp) to "monds" for a few minits, then do the same with a warm towel(DAMP) then I use olive oil,(before and after) and a good quality razor Mach3, massage with oil, put back a warm damp cloth, smooth as a baby's bum. Best of all no annoying bumps, redness, or rash and you won't believe how long it lasts, just finish with a shower & your partner and Yahoooo

As for shapes, I've always just sahved it all off or left a bar down the center. Shapes are too complicated for me. My boyfriend's best friend had a girlfriend who would save peace signs and hearts and stuff, but if you ask me, that is too time consuming.

There was a girlsl on here who said she had to shave because of dance. What does this mean? HELP!

I can share a little bit about dance... I think mainly, because I had to also. Depending on what kind of dance, I did gymnastics and we wore leotards. Those leos were extremely high cut on the hips, and probably a little more revealing than a bathing suit. Jumping and tumbling meant we had our legs open all the time, and no one wants to see a bush. So the older girls just chose to shave or something so we were "clean" to dance.
