Shaving 101

I originally started trimming to be 'polite' to my girlfriend, but I have found it makes mastrubation much easier and would keep trimming even if I was single.

i like to be mostly shaved ( i leave a tiny bit) for the boys.I have a lot of guy friends and not one has said they prefer it natural. I i dont have a boyfriend atm, so i havent felt the need to be like that all the time as i hate shaving cos it gives me a really bad rash each time. So ive only been doing it about once every month or whenever im going out at night and feel the need to just in case i find myself being intimate with someone. Personally i wouldnt want a guy to see me not neat and shaved (unless it were a long term b/f) The problem I have though, is when i do have a b/f or someone regular, i dont know how to upkeep myself and i always wonder about what other girls do. Because once i shave properly its perfect for about 2 days then i just have to shave stubble which is awful and i just feel like im not smooth at all for my man and for me too. I also feel like shaving doesnt get "close" enough and sometimes in very difficult places it may be slightly prickly and id hate a guy to be subjected to that, so what does everyone do? just keep shaving stubble?? i want to get waxed soo badly but im scared of 1, the pain and most of all the embarrassment. I wonder how on earth wax reaches those places??

I'm a shaver, have been since I was 17. I like the clean feeling and the sensation of a hand against me. However, I'm not a fan of when my boyfriend does it. This is entirely personal preference though and stems from a rather mean partner I had previously. If I were you, I'd talk with my partner and see what she prefers. Much love, robin

I really dont have the time to read throught all of the posts, so could someone who knows please send me an e-mail to jckx84@umkc.edu explaining to me the proper way to shave my genitalia, because im kind of afraid ill mess up and hurt myself. Risky, you mentioned pulling your hair out on the first page (I apologize if anyone already answered this question)...that sounds fairly painful, but mostly really time consuming! Is it worth it?

I personally think it's all sexy so long as I don't suffocate on it when I go down on here. I'm hard to please I know, but really I don't care aside from that. I just love it down there.

I've had this conversation with my boyfriend and each time I ask him what he likes he just says he doesn't mind what I do. Thats all well and good but I don't know if he is just being polite or whether its more about my confidence that matters.

I cannot stand having hairy legs but my hair is too fine to wax so I always have to shave (which sucks).

I used to shave myself into a brazillian but he seems so un turned on by it all that I gave in and now I wax occaisionally for myself....

I'd really love for him to trim and stuff - but his pubic hair isnt that bad or unsightly - it would just make me feel more comfortable going down on him.

I think girls trimmed is good. Shave underneath, but just trim the hair on the front or else (I think I said this in another post about shaving too) it looks too much like a child to me.

Ithaca you mentioned someone pulling hair out? I tried that, keeps it away for longer. Time consuming, slightly painful, but I think overall worth it. Its the same that if you do that with your underarms, it stays away for longer and grows back a bit thinner I found. (I had a lot of time as I was studing for a biology exam last year, I've only done it twice cause it really does take a lot of time and can give you a headache) It would have the same outcome as waxing. I've just never tried to wax either underarms or privates. lol I tired legs once... never again. I'll stick to shaving. :P

I personally trim myself. I have completely shaved it before but...NEVER AGAIN! lol
It was so itchy for about a week if not longer and it kept me up some nights and it just got so red.
As for girls...trimming is good. Dont need to be completely shaven but as long as its not all over the place. It would make it more enjoyable performing oral (not that I know but im assuming)
