I agree. Personally, On my best day I can go alittle 7¾" on my best days and just below 5½ girth wise on my best days. But... even I have insecurities every now and then. I have a theory for why men have these insecurities.

I mean think about it, most people first saw porno when they where young, and still not at their full sizes. I think it kinda gets set in your mind that you want something THAT bit, because from the looks of it, she seems tro be enjoying it. And yes, as we get older, we learn that a pleased woman doesn't come with the big penis, you actually have to work it. We also learn that those women aren't really moaning out of pleasure, they're moaning because their director is telling them to... but nonetheless, the thought stays in the back of our minds... we NEED to be bigger.

I have had several sizes... not sure of exact measurements because my husbands penis is the only one I actually measured with a ruler... and girth I have never measured. I think women are pretty good at guessing measurements... so that being said I will comment on some of the sizes I have encountered.

I was with one guy who was around 10", but didn't have a ton of girth. Sex with him was good, but not extremely better than any other. I was with a guy who was around 3? Sex was not pleasurable at all. All the others have been between 4-6 and have been enjoyable.

The best I have had is my husband and he is 6" and I have no clue for girth. He's good, but I have never measured it. He is the best because he is very attentive to what I like and spends a lot of time making sure I orgasm and enjoy myself before he thinks about getting off himself. I am also very attentive to him so our sex life is kind of a game of trying to get the other off first. It's a lot of fun and I am so satisfied.

So, yes size does matter (TO ME) but that just means that too big is not good and too tiny is not good. There's a big range in the middle that is wonderful. I would say that anywhere from 4-10 is good.

Also, most women get their orgasms from oral and from being fingered, therefor even if your penis isn't "ideal" you can still have a great sex life if you work on finding what feels best for her.

The actual size doesn't make the pleasure. *I think that no matter how big your penis is, if you have good method and foreplay you will both enjoy sex. *There are so many ways to make your partner orgasm, don't worry too much about the size of your unit.

The best sex I have ever had was with my current husband. *We just measured him and he is 6x6. *I have had much bigger/smaller and it didn't feel nearly as good. *It wasn't because of the size of their unit, it was just because they were lousy lovers. *They didn't take the time to find out what I liked and what felt best for me they just assumed they were doing it right(and I wasn't very vocal about it either). *I am a very generous person who enjoys making my partners feel good - I've NEVER had any complaints, only compliments - yet I was left feeling unfulfilled. *

As one who has also seen-and had- a wide variety, I agree with Brandye "I've never had one too large or too small". Remember all you straight guys out there, lesbians manage to satisfy each other with no penis at all.

As for being satisfied yourself, there are alot of ways to make that happen. For example, in oral sex, a large penis can be fun to experience, but over a long term relationship it's a lot of work. Sore jaw and all.

If both partners are truly interested in the pleasure of the other, then everybody wins.

That's a loaded question.....no pun intended! I think every woman is different, and you'll find many different answers from many different women. Variety is the spice of life!

However, I do agree....a large penis is not going to necessarily guarantee me good sexual intercourse.....that depends on the guy. So, I must agree with the saying, "It's not what you've got, it's how you use it."

However, I have to admit that I personally prefer a longer penis, and not a wide one. I don't know why, I sometimes wonder if it has to do with the fact that I'm tall. Perhaps my vagina is longer than other women? Is that why I prefer a longer penis???

From my experience (which is a lot), I would say an average erect penis is 6 inches.

PS - I've found that Canadians tend to have long penises, like I prefer.
