I am 5 months postpardum and got Mirena 3 months ago. I haven't had a normal period since late 2007. Lately when I have sex, my discharge is tinged pink. If I have a strong orgasm (latest being a squirter) I've had more bleeding. Not enough to need a tampon... Barely enough for a pantyliner, but enough to be annoying. I do have some cramping but not badly. Is my body still getting rid of what's leftover from the pregnancy or something else?

Orgasm and bleeding
Some women experience breakthrough bleeding for a few months with an IUD. Following orgasm is a likely time for that to occur. With too little to require a tampon and none at other times, not likely a big deal. If it continues for another month or so, discuss with your doctor. What was left of the pregnancy is long gone.
