It really depends on what you want to do with your hands. Go with what feels natural, but here are some suggestions. I haven't gotten any complaints on any of the following hand occupations while receiving a little lickin'
*Put your hands behind your head and enjoy the show,
*When it gets intense, rub your hands up and down your body or grab ahold of the bedspread,
*Try 69, this way you won't feel awkward about your hands.
*Rough up his hair,
*Twiddle your thumbs (kidding.)
If you have an appropriately-located light, you can make shadow puppets, and have them enact a narrative that works as a wry commentary on the guy's technique.

My girl usually does something like that, or she'll find my hands and squeeze based on the pleasure she's receiving, or i always enjoy the hands on my head as long as she's not pushing me into her crotch (too hard) or anything.
