Is Oral Safe?

I was wondering if oral sex for both sex's is safe? I mean will you get STD's or do you have to do something to prevent it?

I want to know before i Try it, or get tried on.

with all of the std education in school, ive never heard that it is or not.

although, i dont think its a way to get STD's unless you come inside her mouth.

i know if you have a cold sore in your mouth and give her or him oral you can give him or her herpes but thats all i know

yeh and if you kiss someone (or something like that) with a cold sore, you are supposed to be able to get the person sick..

am i right about that?

Just about any STD that can be passed sexually...can be passed orally. Chlamydia, gonorhrea, herpes, etc

And it doesn't matter if you "come" in her mouth or not. You are secreting pre-cum and she is secreting vaginal lubes. and both have saliva

If they aren't teaching this in schools...no wonder there is such a problem with it.
Kids will consider oral a "safe" alternative... just b/c you can't get pregnant that way... or consider anal for the same reasons.. thinking its "safe"

If you use a condom for vaginal sex, use a condom for oral sex. Demon tells it straight: all STDs transmitted genitally are also transmitted orally. And a dose in the throat is not a pretty sight.

So on to the guy's point of view on this. If you are giving her oral, what can you do about it to make that safe, or can you?

da man: roughly the same as she does with you. Use a barrier. For the penis, there is a condom. For the vaginal region, consider using a dental dam, or make your own barrier from a condom. Unroll it, cut off the tip, and then cut it lengthwise, leaving you with a rectangle of latex (or polyurethane or whatever) to place over her genitals. If you're using prelubricated condoms, wash them gently before using them for oral. Neither of you wants to taste those.

These thing ARE taught in schools... if you've taken health classes... I guess these guys were too busy playing with themselves at the sight of the naked pictures in the health text books...

Um... How about using saran wrap? Isn't that a good thing to use on females?

ok, never have i "played with myself" in public, since im in 8th grade, all i have learned from school is:
what is what, what a tampon is, what a woman's period is, things like that.

and of course, STD's and all that. but never was taught about sex itself, or that oral could give you STD's. all they said was be protected during intercourse, and never specified what part.

Well I heard If the girl has a cut in her mouth and indeed has HIV and you have cuts (even microscopic cuts) on your penis and she is giving you a flight to boston (a blowjob) you can contract the STD so use a condom even when gettin a flight mayne

Okay, this is what I know...

Having vaginal intercourse OBVIOUSLY can transmit diseases if one of them has one

Having oral intercourse transmits STD's as well... don't need to 'come'...

Interesting Fact: If the STD-person has a cut in their mouth, and open-mouth kisses someone, then the uninfected could contract the STD.

If STD-holding person performs oral on someone else, the disease isn't transmitted unless there's some contact with the std-bearer's bodily fluids (not sure if saliva count though, so don't quote me on this...)

Having sex with animals (notably monkeys) can contract diseases, and maybe have your eyes scratched out... Isn't that how HIV started in the first place? Monkey-love?
Remember, don't quote me on that stuff... doctors/exprts, feel free to add on and correct me.

but what i dont get...

how can you fly to boston if there is a bag over the plane?

If a person has an STD contracted in the mouth, those bacteria (gonorrhea, chlamydia, for instance) can be passed from the mouth to the partners' genitals.

Stop dealing in "what you heard" and accept the statement that "if it can be transferred genitally, it can be transferred orally in any combination." Nothing else to be said.

i accept that. but i dont get how you can give oral with a condom on the guy's penis.

can you tell me how?

Well, it may be less pleasurable at first... but the female's (or male's) mouth isn't very different from the female vagina.

Just tell her to stop biting and you'll be fine. lol.

i hope that wasnt aimed towards me..since im not the one getting head here..

u can still get dome with a condom on bro, it jus sucks

lol ok, i guess that answered my question...

ROFL, that made my morning. :D

glad i could do that for ya champ lol.

and to answer "how do you do it" Im not sure, since I've never given , nor will I ever give head

lol, never said you would...

but still kinda makes me wonder...you know? oral through a plastic covering..sounds like trying to eat a twinkie still inside the wrapper.

lol, i didnt read anything until i came down to

"its the same, but it sucks" and it just made me laugh :)

lol well the girl goes about it the same way, you just got teh condom on so yeah it sucks. kinda like you said, eatin a damn twinkie with the wrapper on. i hate it, thats why my girl doesnt make me use them when she gives me the flight

thats still hillarious.

i knew she would go down on you the same way, but the way you are saying it is funny ;) :D :p

lol thanks, like i said before in the other thread I try.
