i had a bladder infection and had to take anti biotics, which i know mess up my birth control. my bf and i used condoms for a bit, then i dunno...we just didn't. he hasn't cum in me since i took the pills. but i'm still terrified. i'm supposed to start my period wednesday, but i'm too scared to wait and see if i get it. so i took a whole pack of birthcontrol pills, cause i heard somewhere they do the same thing as the morning after.
i'm ****ting myself here...someone please tell me what to do. I'm only 17. :(

As long as you are on the antibiotics, you need to use an alternative form of birth control. And taking a whole pack of pills is not a good idea at all. It's always a good rule of thumb not to trust "remedies" that you've "heard somewhere". Talk to your doctor and make sure you let them know the entire situation, including what you did with the whole pack of pills.
OK, relax. A whole pack of pills is not good news but the combined hormone is less than one pill when they were first introduced. You do have your system all mesed up.
Now: Use condomes and spermicidal vaginal jelly for a while and see what new schedule your body has established. That will take until your second period from now. The morning after pill, or your whole pack, on top of birth control pills gets the body confused. So it will take a full menstrual cycle to re-establish itself.
Okay, it's never a good idea to take an entire pack of birth-control pills because you could have just put yourself in for a world of problems. Like any medication, you could OD.
Relax, pills are quite effective so you are probably not pregnant. It would still be a good idea to continue to use condoms though.
Never take a wholepack of BCP's; there are certain methods to using the BCP that act the same way plan "B" does. An entire pack has caused some serious hormonal issues...call your doctor and discuss it. Use a back up method of BC such as a spermicide & condoms until the situation is straightened out. I am suprised you have not vomited the pills up yet, watch out for serious headaches.
Yea I agree. I know there are some brands that you can do that w/. But not all of them can be used like that.
Plus, now... you'll have to wait EVEN longer to see if you get your period... b/c you body is all confused.
How long were you on antiobiotics? 7-10 days?
Were you taking your pill during that time?
How long from when you stopped the Antibiotics...do you think you had sex w/out a condom.
I am on BC and have taken antibiotics...and I could tell it just totally messed me up. I would start breakthru bleeding...and my cycle all messed up till I had my "regular" period.

I felt a little nausious the night i took them. But I'm fine now, just a little tired from exams this week. I realize it was an extremely stupid, idiodic thing for me to do and I totally regret it now.
demonbuttercup - I only too the pills for approx. 3 days. That's what the dr. told me to do. I know I was probably being paraniod. I hope I'm okay. I don't think I'll get to go speak to my dr. any time soon. But just a few days before i took the pills i had a pap test done.
one more question. should I worry or is it normal if i don't get my period this week. I"m supposed to start it tomorrow.
I dunno. I would think you probably wouldn't get a period. At least not at its scheduled time.
