not able to please???let me know!

ok, well im new here.  My fiance and i were highschool sweethearts, we were on and off for 9 years and after dating again for 1, decidied we wanted to get married.  we have amazing fourplay, great oral sex and petting.  the other day we decided to have sex (brought up by him) we havent had intercourse in 7 years, so i was very excited!  after he was on top for a while i asked if i could switch with him, i was really into it for maybe 4 minutes, where after that, he lost his erection.  i felt awful, he said he just wasnt really horney, but i think its a lie because HE inniciated.  now i am emmbarrassed, this NEVER happened when fooling around, what did i do wrong??  please help, any responses will be greatly appreciated.

Switching during the act can be a fun addition but can also break the flow. After all these years he would normally have some doubts. After a time or two successfully, the "failure" will recede. Do not keep bringing it up. Just make it easier for him. Accept whatever his favorite position is, help him, ignore youself if necessary. The ego boost for him will give you many more chances in the future.

There is some criticism of us women faking on this board. I would. Make him feel good.

Absolutely true ... when I am with my gf, any kind of nervousness on my part can kill the erection, which makes me more stressed and nervous, which makes it even harder to get it back!

My gf likes to watch me masturbate and even then, I find it is more difficult to cum because I feel more self conscious and nervous.

Why doubt him? Men do lose their erections and it doesn't have to be anyone's fault. Maybe his excuse of "I'm not horny" was to cover his embarrassment at losing his erection.

Don't worry about it. Surely, don't make a big deal about it. If it should happen again, just let him know that you don't mind and would continue "playing around". If you are both relaxed, it should come back.

Good luck.
