Is it common for men to have no recovery time after having an orgasm? I have no recovery time after I orgasm. It could be my 2nd or 3rd orgasm and it's still the same.

No recovery Time

i dont know many males who can have more than one orgasm to be honest, however my boyfriend finds that after a orgasm he needs recovery times of about a few hours before we have sex again.
By no recovery time do you mean no "down time" as in you continue to maintain an erection after orgasm? I don't know how common it is, but I experience that also. There have been comments made about it.
Yes, exactly no "down time." After an orgasm, I continue to substain an erection and this continues for several orgasms. I am actually not sure how many it takes before I get "down time."

The down time or recovery period correctly called the "Refractory Period" varies from individual to individual and hinges on age and drive. Boys right out of puberty can often have four or more climaxes a day. As we age, the number declines and the spacing between climaxes increases. During a man's midlife it is not uncommon for him to have one, two, or three, orgasms per twenty four hour period. It is also just as common to have one or two per week.
Now, for multiple orgasms in which two or more climaxes are experienced during the same session the span of time between any two can be from a few minutes to perhaps twenty minutes. These refractory periods are much longer than they are for women. Also, many women are able to enjoy many more orgasms in a row than our two or three.
What is important to put into perspective is that love making does not need to end once a man has an orgasm. Love making sessions can last for an hour or two or longer depending upon desire and available time. So, why not just continue making out, fooling around, and making "whoopie" until the man is able to have another climax???
While waiting, why not take the opportunity to help the woman enjoy more orgasms and then at least one or two to coincide with the man's next one.
It is not that we men cannot enjoy multiple orgasms, it is that neither the man or the woman understand the length of time it takes to recover. Now you know and now you can enjoy many more orgasms simply by extending the time you devote to a love making session and working within the guys particular recovery time.

No, it is not common. Please see my response, above.
thanks for the information
I used to be the exact same way. I could cum 2 or 3 times before finally "subsiding" I think it just had to do with hormones cuz this was when I was 16
That is age and fitness level dependent. Younger and/or fitter = none required; older and/or not so fit = longer.
I’m close to the same way. Some times I have no “down time” or refectory period, I just maintain erection. Other times I need a 5 minute break. However I am very young and fit.
Yea, that's how it was for me in my younger days; zero to very little down time, (5 minutes tops)...Now it can take 10 to 30 minutes. I'm 27 for reference.
I'm in my early 30's, and I hope it doesn't change.
I'm in my early 50s, and my recovery period is usually quite long, several hours. I don't think that's unusual. The exception seems to be when I have abstained from ejaculation for a lengthy period. In those cases I sometimes find I can go again within a few minutes. There is always a recovery period though.

It will. One day you will be in your early 40s, then your early 50s, etc. :)
I'm in my 20's and don't appear to have a limit, though for most of my life I've had world class fitness. I'm pretty sure that it'll go away, I just hope that it doesn't happen soon.
