Recycled condoms spread disease

CHINESE officials fear used condoms being used as hair ties could spread AIDS, genital warts and other STDs.

Recycled condoms are being turned into hair ties and sold at local markets and beauty salons in southern China, according to Guangzhou-based New Express Daily.

But, health authorities have warned the rubber bands could spread diseases such as AIDS, genital warts and other sexually transmitted viruses.

Wow. I thought this article was going to be about people who reuse their condoms but its not. This is some pretty weird news. Oh and remember to use a fresh condom every time you have sex!

eeww.. sorry but if theres anything i thought that you should recycle it's condoms, the thought that someone wouls have had sex with the hair tie i'm wering is quite desturbing.
