Survey: Seniors have sex into 70s, 80s

Quote:
An unprecedented study of sex and seniors finds that many older people are surprisingly frisky — willing to do, and talk about, intimate acts that would make their grandchildren blush. That may be too much information for some folks, but it comes from the most comprehensive sex survey ever done among 57- to 85-year-olds in the United States.

This does not surprise me in the least. It is awesome to see that seniors still enjoy sex. Sex is a very intimate act that definitely bonds the couple together so it is good to see that most of them are still having sex even into their late years.

Yes, I agree with Cycle---good for them. I was paired with an
older gentleman awhile back during an outing. I had never met
this person before and obviously knew nothing about him. He
was very engaging we seemed to get very well during the afternoon.
He began to tell me about his life and seemed to be very reflective in
his thought process. What really captivated me was his adoring tone
when discussing his wife. He spoke in the past tense and with such
conviction and affection. I did not want to pry but simply wanted to
listen. There is a great deal that can be learned from older people
if you simply TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN. Again, off topic but the thread
sparked my memory.

That's kind of you to say. It seems that some topics bring out
different thoughts, opinions and memories that are somewhat
different from the original intent (at least to me). Yeah, I am
"laughing" at me also.....YIKES
