Brandye is a jewel in the rough
Very helpful information, Mod. Thanks.

To interpret some of the info into real life, most of Northern Europe is essentially abortion on demand ove 16. Latin speaking Europe and Ireland are a bit more restrictive and there are well established routes to those countries with less restrictive limits.

Even better news is that with education, abortion rates (that is the numer of live births divided number of abortions) are dropping even as abortion is becomming more available. Given that the board is membership is mostly Yanks, it would be helpful if someone could find similar info for the US. I understand that availability varies by state. Japan and the US have the highest abortion rates in the industrial world.

I found the rules in Ireland (Catholic Country) very interesting. Europe has always been far ahead of the states in medicine and the like

Brandye is right. Countries with the most progressive abortion laws, such as Sweden and other European countries, have lower abortion rates. Countries with very strict anti-abortion laws, such as Brazil, have much higher rates of abortion and/or unwanted pregnancy. For some reason, many who claim to be "pro life" don't seem to understand that a safe, progressive abortion and birth control policy leads to countries with LESS abortions.

Plan B, being over the counter will help as well.

It would be better if the church didnt tell its followers that plan b (morning after pill) was abortion.

They should actually put the bible down and listen to these people called......scientists...... yeah those people sometimes they know things that the bible doesnt

But i do believe one day a seventeen year old girl who gets pressured into unprotected sex at a party will just spend 30 bucks on a plan b pill instead of 100s+ on abortion.

well actually she would have to get someone else to buy it cause you have to be 18 or older to buy. and thats a debatable topic as well.
