Sex education for parents too
I just found this article very interesting;
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/...mment-opinions I'm not a parent and I don't plan on being one, yet I have been told that I would be a very good parent when it comes to raising my children to be aware of the "sexual world". But after reading this, I'd be afraid if I were having kids. It seems like there are so many new terms and things going on that even I, at 20, can't keep up with, by the time I were to have kids, I'd be so lost when it comes to what they're saying. How can you have a serious discussion with them about the topic if you don't know half of what they're talking about? I'd spend half the discussion going, "what's that slang for? Oh yeah..." That's just me though. I'd love to hear what other parents are thinking about this though ![]()

Jesus, did I say that, or just think it? Was I talking? Could they hear me??? That's right, I referenced Aqua Teen Hunger Force in giving relationship advice. What of it? |
