Should we use condoms or birth control?

My girlfriend and I have been having sex for the past few months. I've said before that I can't really feel anything with the Trojan condoms we've been using, but we haven't really done anything about it until tonight. I was reading some reviews about condoms, and it seems the best feeling we can get is if she uses birth control and I don't mess with condoms.

I'm not against condoms, but damn it'd be nice to feel something during sex. What's the popular choice here?

my boyfriend and I have always liked Lifestyles...theyre snugger than Trojan, it seems. We've never been big Trojan fans...too big and billowy-feeling

I'm the same way, so you are not alone. I tried a few different makes/models all to no avail and finally gave up. I do recommend that you try different ones even if you have to order them.

Another thing you should do is to apply some lubricant to just the glans of your penis. Doing so will give it more wiggle room and transmit more friction. This might very well be all it takes to solve the situation. Regardless, do it with all condoms you use.

We normally recommend that teens use three forms of contraception because of the high likelihood of becoming pregnant. Yours, hers, and ours. If you do not use a condom, then at least use a spermicide in addition to what she chooses to use.

I like the Trojan Ultrathin ones. They are very thin and fit very well. They have a very thin lube to them which does not make it messy. They have them with spermicide and without. My gf and I like them very much. She says it feels like I am wearing nothing at all. We have tried the Lifestyle Skyn and they are ok. We have just started trying them.

CONDOMS ARE BIRTH CONTROL!!!! Any time a penis is in a vagina, there is a chance of pregnancy. Whatever we do to reduce that chance is birth control. Condoms are a barrier method and the birth control pill is a hormonal method.

Every woman in the world has, at some point, heard the old "I want to feel it bare" argument and too many give in. I always gave my partners a choice: my vagina (with condom and spermicide) or their hand. At some point, it becomes realistic to go the hormone or iud route. But, not when you are still in the dating stage. Take Evil's advice. Condom and spermicide with her on the pill.

I found that I didn't really get loads of simulation with normal Durex condoms but the ultra thin ones are pretty good.
Now though, she's decided to go one the pill, partly because of sexual reasons & partly because it's supposed to lessen period pains. Her periods are also really irregular without it to.
We were also both virgins when we started going out & because I donate blood every few months, we could be confident we were both clean of S.T.Ds.
If I was to have intercourse with a stranger I'd defiantly use a condom.

According to the (U.K) N.H.S website, the combined pill (which is the regular one as far as I know) has more than a 99% success rate. Condoms with spermicide have about a 98% rate.
