Advice?

Since quite recently, I have a girlfriend, who I absolutely adore, and we have gotten intimate with each other already. Last week, she fingered me - not roughly, though with three fingers entering - and it hurt like hell. For several days it continued to ache, which then diminished to a slight discomfort. It bothers me that it hurts, because it isn't supposed to. I have a history of sexual abuse, and maybe this could be the cause of it. Can anyone help me? Any advice?

I want to be close to her, because I trust her, and she's kind and understanding and will only go as far as I allow her to. She knows of my past and pays extra mind to how I am feeling while we play around, and mentally I am ready to allow her to finger me and such, but physically something's up.

I would greatly appreciate advice, if you have any at all to give me.

Both approximate age and approximate gender would be helpful. You force us to make assumptions. I am assuming you are a teen aged woman.

We recommend that all women have a gyn exam by age sixteen and before becoming sexually active. If you have not had a complete gyn exam, it is time to do so and discuss this with your doctor.

It is not apparent to me why three fingers were used. There are no nerve endings in the vagina so all the sensation is external. Even if looking for the G-Spot or some such, three fingers would not be used. Some women like to see how many they can admit and some men think it sport to get as many as possible in there. Between two women, what is the point?

You are lucky to have found someone trusting and kind and understanding. Perhaps the two of you need to do some learning about the female body.

Are you talking about the vagina?
Are you talking about the anus?

If you are a woman and referring to the vagina, are you a virgin? If so, what is the state of your hymen? Is it fully intact?
