Should I shave?

Well guess I'll start off by saying I'm a virgin. It's not too bad since I'm only 16 though.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that when I lose my virginity she won't be. I was wondering should I shave myself down there? I've done it before so it's not itchy once it starts growing back in. It just seems kind of messy when I keep it unshaved.

You should shave yourself. Shave it in a good clean manner. You may not want to shave it all. You could leave some on. Do not let your hair grow out of control and too much.

One of my female friends said she likes a man with hair down there. She said he should not have too much hair down there. He should not let his hair grow for months without shaving.

I like it when girls shave I don't like getting the hair in my mouth and then I have to spit it out later on thats not so good!

Most young girls like it shaved. It takes practice though, the first few times you do it you can expect to be getting nicks, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs.

If you plan on keeping it bald you should start practicing now so you don't botch it up the day before your girl sees it. She might not react well to a bumpy red scabbed up groin. >_< It took me a few months to get shaving down to an art form, haha.

Make sure you buy a really good razor, and always use a new blade whenever you shave that area to make sure you get a good clean shave. There is a thread on shaving somewhere in the forums.

Yup, what she said. In fact switch blades more than once so that you continue to have a fresh edge; do not let the blade become dull.

Shave with the grain, not against it.

As for being clean shaven or with a bit of "color", try the latter and see if you like it better. Having a bit more length than stubble will keep the area from itching. This should also keep the area from being prickly when the hair does begin to show if it has been completely removed. This is a consideration not only for hands but cheeks and mouths.

Yeah, that's EXACLTY why I shave.. I tell the guys I am with that they don't need to shave as long as they keep it trim and so I don't end up with nasty hairs in my mouth. It is COMPLETELY unattractive. I hate it. <__<

Presumably you are telling the guy not to shave. Would you perhaps agree that we are back to the individuality of it all. I have never ever shaved and like a lady to have hair. Also, being involved with sport all my life, I don't think I would ever have dared to go into a communal male shower with a shaved pube area. No way!
