Cant have sex

Hi im an 19 yr old guy and ive never had this issue with any girl before. Ive been seeing this girl for well 9 months now. The problem is that weve been trying to have sex for a long time now (Roughly 5 months) but we cant because on entry she always gets alot of pain. Shes a virgin or well if it still counts and we have been trying desperately to figure this out. Any advice is appreciated.

I assume your g/f is about the same age. She should have a complete gyn exam and this MUST be discussed with the doctor.

Given the length of time and number of tries, this saounds like a classic vaginismus. Do a search. This can be overcome if she wants to and gets moving. Each "failure" makes the likelihood of subsequent failures higher. Too many women choose to "live with it" and end up with no sex lives.

I would recommend an appointment at her earliest opportunity and the two of you agree to oral satisfaction with no attempt at penetration until she talks with the doctor. I am biased but a woman gyn would be my preference. Women can identify with this problem in our own bodies. Male doctors can be great but will never have this experience. A GOOD doctor who has dealt with this - and most gyn's have.

Perhaps, however, this is a simplistic answer. More to the point is what Brandye pointed out, plus, the fact that if the hymen happens to be intact that this can be an issue.
