And no, I wouldn't consider any form of masturbation losing your virginity. Virginity to me is penetration from the same/opposite sex (depending on your preference) not getting yourself off with your hand or with a toy.

no you know like how there is a thin layer in the clit that gets penetrated the first time she has sex (and couple drips of blood come out). That's how I think about virginity... the clit and the vagina are 2 totally different things.
the clit is the bundle of nerves that feels really good when it gets stimulated. The vagina is where the actual penetration occurs. There are several posts on here about female anatomy... or even just Google "female anatomy".
I think you are referring to the hymen which is the thin flap of skin that covers the entrance to the vagina.
This has been stated MANY times that presence of a hymen is no longer a TRUE test of virginty. Now a days women lose their hymens due to exercise, masturbation, and especially tampons.
I mean a tampon goes the same place a penis goes, but you don't say she's lost her virginity because of that.

not every virgin bleeds when loosing her verginity. i didn't but that didn't change the fact that i'd not been with anyone until then, no tampons either...it might have been exercise then (see damonbuttercups response)
