Here's a thought... sounds like you haven't really been sexually active at all beforehand. You'll be more likely to enjoy (and therefore not regret) sex if you start out opening up sexually and each other...and I don't just mean verbally. I mean manual and oral sex... that will help it to hurt less and be more pleasurable when you finally do have sex. On top of that, of course, goes everything else that's been said...make sure it's what you really want, etc. 16 is not necessarily too young... my girlfriend is 16... and she doesn't regret her decision...

we have been doing manual and oral sex for about 6 months now just an FYI :-) but anyway thanks for everyone's help it's really cleared me up on things! i feel a lot more confident with my decision and i'm gonna go for it once i find a secure way of getting birth control pills.
