Am I shrinking

I am a 35 year-old virgin waiting for marriage to have sex. I have not had any form of sexual relations with anyone, only masturbation with myself. When I was younger I had often measured my erection because it was the adolescent thing to do and then I had measured more than 8 inches. However, now when I recently started to measure again ( using same technique) I can barely measure up to 7 inches, most of the time about 5 -6 inches. Has my penis shrunk? Is my erection smaller than maybe 10 years ago? Should I be concerned?

The only factual reference to something like this that I could locate was in a book called Man's Body-An Owner's Manual. *"The penis may get permanently smaller in old age, or after longish periods of impotence." *This as opposed to temporarily smaller from something like cold.

Now, I don't consider 35 to be old age- I hope not anyway, I'm 36 (lol), so I'm going to offer some personal experience. *I have noticed that penis size depends on intensity of arousal. *Most of the time, I measure between 7-7&1/2, but can measure less than 7 on occasion. *It just depends how "turned on" I am.

I believe that there is some evidence to the "use it or lose it" theory. *But I would think that at least regular masturbation should take care of that.

One of the places I looked for answers to this was to type "penis shrinking" into Google. *If you want to know about everything penis try that. I was amazed at how much penis stuff was on the internet. Wow!

Just one last observation. *It really doesn't matter what your size. *Being a caring and considerate lover is much more important than how big (or small) you are.
