is there any normal reason to have a late period when a girl is on birth control for ....5 -6 months?

Ok...looking on the "I hope thats what it is side". Sometimes, if a girl is on a pill, her period might be so light that she might not realize that she's having a period. Also, sometimes it can sort of stop, but don't take my word for it, I'm not completely sure about that. Also if the girl is underweight, that mgiht be the cause.
However, it can also be a sign or either pregnancy or an illiness. The best action in this case is seeing a doctor.

yeah fury is right
sometimes the pill can cause you to not have a period all together but usually this occurs in like the first 3 months of taking them. after that your body gets regulated and on a normal schedule. the best thing is to get tested to know for sure.
