Not only will sex be more enjoyable but you will also know what goes where and why. Knowledge in this area will also help prevent STD's and unwanted pregnancy. Good luck.

ok I'm kind of embarressed to say this but, I was fingering myself down there and it started to feel really sore and I felt like skin torn off or something like skin that was scraped.

It still hurts. I tried washing down there with hot water but still hurts like crazy.

So, what's the situation? Are you a virgin? If so, is your hymen intact? Have you taken a hand mirror and flashlight and gone on an inspection? You should, just so you know how you are built and what things are like, and, what the condition and composition of the hymen is like--or what may be left of it. This last bit of knowledge is helpful when it comes time to actually penetrate the hymen. The tip of the penis should be positioned against the opening if there is one, or alongside between the hymen and the vaginal wall. This is much easier than arbitrarily poking at the membrane.

If you are using Tampons, does insertion or removal hurt?

Please keep in mind that while inserting a finger into the vagina can be pleasurable, the only nerves are around the opening and just inside. What is pleasurable about having something inside is the sense of fullness derived, plus the stretching of the muscles associated with movement.

If you want to try and go inside, look or feel for the passageway and then insert your finger there.

I never use tampons except one time I tried putting one in and it kind of went wrong.

It's hard to look in a mirror unless it's from make up stuff that has a mirror I don't have a hand mirror.

I find a small tight opening and that's where I feel it and I also feel like skin has been scraped or it could be either my finger nails which are long at the moment or it could be me doing it wrong.

There are several illustrations that will appear when you do a Google search that depict various styles of hymens. Not all are the same nor have the same membrane thickness. Some have one or more internal openings, others partially obscure the vaginal opening to one extent or another.

If you probe around, you may find the passageway. It may or may not be large enough to insert a finger. I would not go exploring with long nails! It is too easy to scrape the mucus membrane and cause an irritation or some light bleeding.

I am surprised that you have not yet been able to determine that the urethra is in a different location than where Tampons are placed.

If you are this naive and have yet to explore your own body, you are nowhere near ready to "go up a step"! I recommend using a good light and a mirror and exploring. You can also search Google for illustrated drawings of the female anatomy.

As recommended in another reply to another of your posts, I recommend that you read each of the articles listed in the Index, particularly the section on having intercourse for the first time. You have much to learn; as important, you do not yet know what you do not know. Encourage your boyfriend to also read and then discuss what you have learned. Knowledge is empowering.
