My hymen was like Fort McHenry. We spent hours trying to break through it, I kid you not. He tried to enter me the old-fashioned way, but the wee wee was not going in anywhere. So we took a shower together and he tried to stick his fingers inside, but I was terrified after a certain point and screamed for dear life. When we got out of the shower we sat next to each other in bed watching random TV shows trying to forget. I told him that we could try again, but he said that it was "no big deal" but then I told him that I really wanted to do it. He's probably the only guy who is this patient. We spent like 45 minutes just caressing each other and kissing and after a while we started laughing about the situation. EVENTUALLY he worked his way in and I said "OWWWWWW! STOP!" and then he sort of hung around on top of me for a while, kissing my forehead, trying to calm me down. We didn't really go much further than that until a week later. The second time wasn't that swell, either, to be honest.

It took me a long time to be able to be penetrated when I first tried to have sex, I think my biggest problem was I couldn't relax because I was nervous. But when it finally did happen it was only mild discomfort and I think it probably would have been less so if we had used lube (one of those "I wish I knew then what I know now" things). It was a little uncomfortable the first few times after that, but after awhile I was a seasoned pro. Another thing I wish I knew then was that there was no rush, the whole time I was so anxious to get to the sex and I kind of rushed through the foreplay and I think more foreplay would have helped me relax.

Would having sex for the first time hurt less if my hymen was already broken by a doctor?

as you'll read around...most would advise lots of foreplay to get you relaxed and the vagina relaxed. in addition, lots of lube.

when I was with this guy the other week he began to finger me, for a split second it hurt but then he did it again, it wasn't pleasure, it just felt weird, I am a virgin or at least I think I still am.

I remember when I first had sex.... I was really wanting it and was ready... but yes it did hurt like hell! I'm just lucky that my boyfriend was gentle and when I told him to stop moving... he stopped...
All I can say is take it slowly, if it really hurts then ask him to stop, breathe deeply, relax and once you feel ready get him to put it in a little further... also from personal experience, the first couple of times were painful but all you need to remember to do is relax. once you've started to relax he'll go in easily and it will be pain free |

Yeah as the other guy said you could try for him to finger you first and ... do you get really nervous and tense???Cuz if you do then your vagina could tighten a lot when he has sex with you. On the first couple of times it does hurt for a lot of people so keep experimenting and stuff like that... also try maybe lube... put extra lubrication of and it could help with it not hurting cuz you or he may not be wet enogh if you guys don't wear condom and if you do use a condom still use soem lube... like ky jelly or something like that... cuz a condom sometimes doesn't give you enough moisture.

Okay, my girlfriend does masturbate, but 95% of the time it is clit only, she puts a finger in there occasionally. We are both virgins and she said she has never noticed that she bled from any masturbation or anything. She said unless she popped it with a tampon and didnt notice it that it is still there? What do you think? Even if it is gone, will it still hurt her? And if it gone she wont bleed will she? Thanks to everyone that helps!
