Needing advice...

Last weekend, in a fit of boredom and horny desperation, I decided to post a CraigsList personal ad in search of NSA sex. As a virgin, I thought an older male would be better -- you know, someone more experienced to show me the ropes. I found the perfect guy for the job, and it was a wonderful experience; I could not have asked for a better, more comforting first time. I'm nineteen and he's thirty-five -- all legal. Except he's a professor at the college I attend. He is not *MY* professor, nor will I ever have him for a course [we are in completely different fields of study]. It's a big enough school that odds are I will never even see him again in passing. I am just rather worried/nervous that either of us might get in trouble -- I am not telling anyone, and I highly doubt he will [he was extremely nervous, making sure no one was around who would possibly know him from the department or be one of his students]. So should I be worried or nervous? There was a teacher in high school who was arrested for it; I know the age was a factor, but is a prof/student relationship illegal, even if he's not my prof/it had nothing to do with a grade?

Hmmmm, tough situation. The best I would say is avoid him like plague now. Do not take any of the classes that he teaches, and cut off all contact with him. I'm not sure how big of a deal it would be since you are over the legal age, as long as you do not take his classes. And if you are that paranoid, concider transfering schools after your second year.

Good advice, although perhaps a bit extreme except for avoiding him. You probably do not have anything to fear except for any awkwardness or problems associated with running into him. He on the other hand stands to suffer because most institutions frown on teacher/student involvements, even though as you state, it is all legal. Depending upon school policy and his contract, it is conceivable that he could be sanctioned or dismissed for his impropriety.
