nausea post orgasm

Hi All, I'm new here - lurked for awhile- and now posting my first question.

About 60% of the time I have mild nausea after orgasm. I've always thought that it was a result of an adrenaline (epinephrine, actually) dump. It' s certainly mild and of no harm but I wonder if other women have the same thing? The friends that I have asked don't experience it.

Certainly it appears that the more aroused/excited I am the more likely it is to appear. And really, for the most part, it doesn't happen when I am masturbating alone. I'm certainly more aroused with a partner.

I'd appreciate any comments or thoughts on this and any suggestions. Thanks.

It is a diversion of blood from other parts of the body to the lower abdomen. More often shows up as light headedness but nausea is far from unknown.

Unless of course your boat is really rocking, then it is seasickness! (Ignore this part; long day)

Not too bad of a thought. Many people work all day, come home, have dinner, clean up the dishes, and head for the bed. Maybe it's because your stomach is still pretty full? Maybe make an effort to see when it's happening and if you had a big meal? Just a theory, a vague & random thought...

I know if I have had a few glasses of wine and I'm feeling pretty good, all is fine until I hit the post-sex part. Suddenly the "feel good" of the alcohol does not feel so good anymore.

Nice thought sera! hahaha.
