I've been working my way up in toy sizes over the past couple months or so, and I'm happy to finally be able to insert a soft 1.5" rabbit vibe. I did bleed a little the first time I used it, but I assumed it was because my hymen was ripped a bit in the process and didn't fuss too much over that. Tampons can't do all the work, I guess.
Which leads me to note that... when I touch my entrance, not inserting but just touching with my fingertips, I noticed today that I have a bit of bunched skin poking out now. Nothing dangly or anything, but a little sensitive fold of sorts that peeks out, and I'm sure I didn't have that before.
I know the hymen is typically located right at the entrance, so I'm wondering if that's the most likely thing? Have I just stretched out the skin right inside a bit and it's pulled out now?
I'm not worried exactly, just a bit bewildered. I'm not all that in tune to my parts, but I at least know what it usually feels like during a quick wash down there. I'm just looking for a little reassurance or a prod if that's something I should have checked out. I don't know if this is a common thing after toy use or sex.
If you have never had a gyn exam, the time has come. If you are that seriously into toys, you are getting close to sexual activity and all women should have an exam before that occurs.
It is possible that untorn bits of the hymen are what you are feeling. Especially if you had a particularly tough hymen this could be expected.It is also possible that you overdone it a bit and have stretched a bit of skin. Not the internal as that is very elastic and would move right back where it belongs.
I'm probably not going to be jumping into bed with anyone any time soon, but you're right that I'm due to meet a gyno. Time flies and I'm already 22.
I just recently got a new job, and it occurred to me that I could buy things for myself now, so I'm having fun exploring myself with toys. I always like the look of the toys that come in bigger sizes, so I guess I might be overdoing it a LITTLE bit... it just seems a lot safer to see how far I can go by myself before I start thinking about future sex with another person.
