I got her something not so romantic.
Since many months ago she's been telling her mum she wants a smoothie maker & it would be perfect. I ordered a nice expensive one from the internet for her.
I ordered her a custom made card from moonpig.com that reads "Im so lucky to have someone like you to love everyday. You're my world & everything in it. I love you Cami".(Her name is Cami) I know she wants a rose too, so i just went to the shop & got her a nice red rose.
She's coming to see me tomorrow & im worried about being too cheesy with the rose. Its gonna be embarrassing for me.
Is this good valentines day stuff? Would you be happy if your man got you this kind of thing? (Obviously if you did want a smoothie maker hehe).
Am i pushing it a bit with the rose? Ive never given her a flower yet. We been together 8mts & we're both 21.

I think what you did will make her very happy. It's not always about the gift being romantic, it's really nice if he thought of something I really would like to have and took the time to find it & get it. The single red rose it perfect, a full dozen would have been overboard w/the gift, but be sure to give her the rose since it's the symbolic. And you did not forget the card, prob. the most important thought of the whole day. Have a good Valentine's Day...
