My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years, 2 of which is a long distance relationship. I visit every 3-4 months and we try to have sex as much as possible throughout a 4 day period.

As you get to more than the first, he must be in a position that allows him to feel the most. Sounds like you did it in reverse order. Save the blowjob for the third time.
