So I've heard all about thrusting and getting the right motion and movement down when having sex, but I don't really understand it. Some say that it's natural and that it'll just happen, but others say we (the partners) have to control it. Would someone care to explain this and how it can be done to make sex better?!

The Motion of Sex


So I've heard all about thrusting and getting the right motion and movement down when having sex, but I don't really understand it. Some say that it's natural and that it'll just happen, but others say we (the partners) have to control it. Would someone care to explain this and how it can be done to make sex better?!
As with all other aspects of making love, it is not all in what we do to our partner, rather for and with him/her. With that in mind, I don't see how you can control "it", unless you are using the Woman Superior position. With the others, you can contribute either a little or a lot to the motion. Usually, a woman will mirror the direction of her body movement to what her partner is doing. In other words, if he is moving toward you, or inward, then you move toward him. You can raise or elevate your pelvis or hips and move upward and hold the position as if to meet him. You can try bucking but this often ends up being a problem because the two of you get out of sync. and he can either slip out, hit you hard, or his penis!
It really is all about doing what comes naturally, based upon what you feel or want to contribute to the passion. So, just "go with the flow" and see what happens.
The main differences between stroking and thrusting are in the speed the two are done as well as the depth. While he is stroking you may find you can match his movements. If so and it is what you want to do, then do it. If you just want to elevate your pelvis or hips every once in a while to several of this strokes, then do this. The latter will probably be all you can do when he begins his thrusting that becomes faster and more furious.
Some positions will let you undulate your hips and this helps him by moving his penis in a circle about the base. This can be very stimulating. If you are sitting on him, then you can grind or undulate your bottom against him.
